Unchained was written by Jude Johnstone an American singer-songwriter. Her songs have been covered by Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Cash and - in this video - David Burney. This is one of two videos we shot in one day at the Historic Hephzebah Baptist Church in Wendell, NC. ["I Forgive It All" can be viewed here] .

Our approach was to keep the set as authentic as possible - very little was changed in the church. David is the only voice and guitar player in the video. All lighting was supplemental to the natural light in the building. No additional lighting was used outdoors.

The finished video won a Regional Addy Award for best Music Video.
